Here are some sketches that I have made during two Life Drawing sessions at university.
Session 1
Quick sketches from twenty seconds to two minutes. Some of the sketches were drawn with the opposite hand.
Below: A five minute sketch.
Below: A fifteen minute sketch.
Below: For this sketch I was given the task to draw the models in a way which I considered to be wrong and out of proportion. I made parts of the body large and wide and other parts small and slim.
I really like the way this image turned out.
Below: For this drawing I was given the task to draw the model in the style I like to draw in. I love the female form and when I draw it I like to exaggerate the curves. I have taken inspiration from pin-up paintings from the 50s era.
Session 2
In my second Life Drawing session I drew the unclothed model for two minutes to twenty minutes.
I used different techniques such as using the opposite hand and with my eyes closed. I also used different medium, such as fine-liners, pencil, charcoal, chalks and felt-tips.
